About Us
Most people don't hire a cleaning service because they want a cleaner house. They hire one because they're tired. Overwhelmed. Stretched thin. And they just want someone they can trust to come in, do it right, and take that one thing off their plate.
The problem is, that's not usually what they get.
We know because we've been there. Early in our marriage, we hired cleaners hoping for exactly that kind of relief. What we got instead were people who moved through our home without really paying attention to the details - surfaces wiped but nothing underneath them touched, corners skipped, the shower looking clean but still feeling grimy. Poor communication. An extra charge for anything outside their checklist. And when it was over, we were left asking what we'd actually paid for.
It didn't help. It made everything harder.
A few years later, we went through a miscarriage. If you've experienced one, you know what that season is like - grieving something invisible, running on empty, and still trying to hold your home and your life together. In the middle of it, a dear friend showed up and cleaned our home for us. She was thorough and careful and she paid attention to everything. When she left, the whole house felt lighter. Like someone had shown up for us in the most quiet and practical way. It was a very touching and life changing moment for us to receive that kind of care & relief during such a hard season.
That's when Nichole knew this was what she was meant to do,
So I started showing up for others the same way she had shown up for me. I had a close friend going through a devastating divorce. I came and cleaned her home. I had another friend completely burned out, working herself to exhaustion trying to provide for her family. I showed up for her too. I was thorough. I was detailed. I treated every home like it mattered, because it did.
Both of them said the same thing when I finished. It wasn't just that the house was clean. It was how they felt. Lighter. Seen. Like someone had genuinely shown up for them when they needed it most.
Word spread. Friends started telling me the same thing: you have a gift for this, you should offer your services, you should start a business. The quality, the attention, the care- people need this. At first it felt too personal to commercialize. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that's exactly what made it worth doing.
So Will and I built Haven Sent together, from the ground up. A family business built on two experiences we'll never forget: what it felt like to pay for a service that let us down, and what it felt like when someone showed up and truly delivered. We built our standards, our communication, and our care around the second one.
Today, Haven Sent offers residential cleaning, home care memberships, and home management services to families across Utah County. Our goal is to reduce the mental load, bring a calm and healthy environment back into your home, and give you your time back so you can spend it on the people and things that matter most.
We are not the cheapest option. But we will show up, do the job right, communicate with you clearly, and treat your home with the kind of care you'd want from someone you actually trust.
